Our first few days we will be in a studio and then moving to a one bedroom for the balance of our stay. Both rooms will be at BWV. Will we have to bring all of our luggage down to the bellhop and check out and check in? Do you know if our luggage can be moved from one room to the other as we will be out at the parks. If I was able to check in early, that would be great, but I have never had that experience at BWV.

You'll need to vacate your studio by 11:00am.

You will also need to check in to your one-bedroom which you can do prior to going to the parks. If the one-bedroom is ready for occupancy when you check in you can move your bags to the new room.

If your one-bedroom is not ready contact bell services to have them pick up your luggage. Explain the situation to them so they can move your luggage to your new room when it becomes available. If everything works, your luggage should be in your one-bedroom when you return from the parks.

When you check into the Studio- let them know you'd appreciate having your 1BR available when you have to move if at all possible. They will note your request, but won't (can't) guarantee anything.

The day before you'll be moving, again go to the front desk and reiterate your request. With a LARGE smile on your face, let them know that you'd appreciate being homeless for as short a time as possible. They will note your request, but won't (can't) guarantee anything.

On moving day, go down to the desk around 9am and again (with a BIG smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye) let them know how you'd appreciate their help with getting you a room as quickly as possible.

With any luck at all (don't forget that winning SMILE!), you'll have a 1BR ready to go to before 11am- and you can easily get moved with minimal inconvenience.

If not, be assured you gave it your best try and there is nothing ready for you at 11am. Just allow the Bell staff to store your bags and enjoy time in the park until that room is ready. (I'm betting you'll have it before 11!)

Enjoy!

Don't forget to have your refridgerator food placed in cold storage for you if the new room isn't ready in time.

I don't think they will just put the bags in your new room for you. We were in a similar situation in Nov with my sister, and they said that someone had to be in the room. They did not bring them until someone was there. I even think that we called from the room as we were leaving for a park or something, and when we got back, they were not there. Of course they gave us some legitimate sounding reason, but personally, I think it was so they could get a tip, which is to be expected I suppose.
