Rooms that are available for the 25% Member discount come from "point inventory". The member discount is only available if MS thinks that members will not reserve all of the rooms in the point inventory for points. Since there is a wait list for the day you want and it is already less than 60 days before arrival, chances are not in your favor that a member-discounted room will be available.
Your best bet at this point is to call CRO and try to book a room from them - they may have cash rooms left. (I'm assuming you already have a back up plan so that you will have a place to stay that night if the BWV waitlist doesn't come through). CRO or "cash" rooms come from a different inventory than the member or point inventroy. The "cash" inventory comes from the ownership percentage that Disney retains in each
DVC resort and mainly from members that have decided to take advantage of options in the Disney Collection (including the
DCL), the Adventurer's Collection and the Conceirge Collection. Every time a member uses one of those options, DVC has to rent out the equivalent number of room nights to "pay" for the non-DVC option.
If you do manage to book a room through CRO for cash, ask the CM to note yor MS confirmation number on the cash ressie with a request to stay in the same room. Then call MS and ask to have the cash confirmation number noted on your DVC reservation (with the same request not to change rooms). You will be told this is not guaranteed, but chances are in your favor on this one. At worst, you may have to check in and check out again, but not actually move.
More than you wanted to know, I'm sure!
Good luck!
