We are interested in these tickets. Is there a time limit on when they can be used? I know they are good for 5 "consecutive" days but if we bought them today can we use them 2 years from now???

Hello! According to Universal's website, the tickets must be used by December 31, 2006. :(

Phantom can probably verify this but our tickets were supposed to be adult and child expiring in April and what we actually got were all adult tickets with no expiration. I called Universal and read the number on the ticket and you can too to verify it.

Do the tickets say they are two day tix (and US/IOA is simply letting you get the 3 "extra" days up until 2007, so long as it's done all in one visit)? Or is it a 5-day ticket that they issued?

I'm thinking it's probably a 2-day ticket, and that, as twin43 noted, it's good forever, and that it's the buy-one, get-one and 3 day-free promotion that expires at the end of this year - but I need verification on this!

ANybody?

My tickets which I got from the 2 day/ 2 park promotion say "5 day/ 2park bonus pass ticket expires 4 days after 1st use"

Anyone know if they have to be used by a certain date or no? I really want to buy them but I'm not totally sure I will be at US this summer. Can I buy and use them next summer?

if you buy a bonus pass that includes free days on it, then they will expire on the 4th day after you use the tickets for the first time.

you have a 5 day pass, 3 of the days are free, bonus.
you go monday, then have 4 more days to use the pass. they will expire on day #6. if you go monday, skip the parks on tuesday, they still expire day 6.

if you bought several passes and don't use them, they do not expire until you have used one day on them. i know it says expires dec 31 but that expiration date has changed once before.

if you buy a bonus pass that does NOT include any free days, they also will not expire until you use up all the days on the tickets.

Bumping and hoping for an accurate answer to this question. :flower:

Editing to add:
QUOTE i don't know why the expiration date is being stressed here. a few of the experts on the boards have already stated not to worry that tickets are valid.

I just want to be sure that I won't be wasting my money if I go ahead and buy the tickets. I don't want them expiring on me if I don't use them by Dec. 31st.

I called the universal online ticket office to order new tickets since mine were missing. He told me they do not expire(until you use the first day). I am picking mine up at the kiosk.

SO... if I order the tix today and opt for the free kiosk pick-up, I can pick them up while in Orlando (on business) in March and use them in August for our trip?

(I think I will just do what you did, LaurieA - and call the ticket office! ;) )

what is the cost difference of picking up the tickets at the kiosk or guest services?

is one pick up place any better than the other?

You just save on shipping cost. You can use the kiosk or Guest Service, whichever has the shortest line. You'll still have to pay for parking to get to the park unless you have someone drop you off at the Guest Drop-off area.

I just ordered, and shipping was $15.00 for FedEx, which was the only option offered.

If you click on delivery options there is free kiosk pick up for everything except for the 4 and 5 park Orlando Flex tickets. All others can be picked up at the kiosk and the one day passes can also be printed at home.

i just ordered my 5 day pass special.

the only options of delivery that were listed was
kiosk: free
fed ex: 3 day service $15
fed ex: overnight: $20

last year i did fed ex overnight and it was $12.
price increase huh......

didn't want to be left behind and have prices increase out of the blue.
since i am going no matter what, might as well have the tickets paid for now.
but, wanted them in my grubby hands before i left town...........
