On-Board Airline Check-In (Quick Question)

Are you still able to do the On-Board Airline Check-In if you do NOT use Disney Transportation from the Port to MCO? (i.e. driving a rental car or using another car service?) TIA

There is a description of the check in process in the FAQ sticky at the top of the page. The information there seems to imply that you need to use Disney transportation in order to use the luggage service.

By my recollection, you can only use onboard check in if you're using disney buses or they booked your flight.

You were never allowed to participate in the Onboard Airline Check In program if you didn't have at least DCL transfers booked. The luggage service is a perk for booking the DCL transfers. You can't rent a car or take other transportation and have them deliver your bags to airport and get the airline luggage tags, and auto airline check in.

In addition you have to meet the other program requirements to participate.
