I have a 6:20 ressie for Ohana the same night I have a Pireates and Pals fireworls cruise. I was told we should be at the Contemp. by 8:35 for the cruise.

I ploan to get to Ohana by 6pm (a little before) in hopes we will get seated early and mention to our server that we need to leave in time for the cruise.

DO you think we will have enough time? This is our first time to Ohanas - first time I could get a ressie and we would really like to go. I just don't want to be late for Pirates and Pals Voyage.

Thanks for your input.

Oh yeah, I think you should have plenty enough time to eat and get there on time.

Depending on how many in your party, I'd say an 60 - 75 minutes. You'll have plenty of time.

My one suggestion - arrive 15 minutes before your ADR. You would rather be earlier than later.

Enjoy!

Thanks! Looking forward to Ohanas and the cruise...By the way.,..does anyone know what's on the limited kids menu for Ohana. DS is a very picky eater and was wondering what options he may have. We're on DXDP.

DD has had mac 'n cheese that she didn't like, and a hot dog with fries (note - you only get one of those, this was different visits).

Also, I would make sure you're on the monorail by 8:00. The monorail can get pretty packed at night with people streaming to MK for the parade or fireworks, and the monorails can get backed up and take a while to get around to the CT.

I think you have plenty of time. enjoy your dinner and the pirate cruise :goodvibes

Happy to hear I can get hot dog and fries for DS...eases my mind. I like to get to places early and plan to be on monorail no later then 8pm. I think we will have to go to GF then MK then Contemp if I remember the loop correctly.

Can you walk from Poly to Contemp? I know there are walkways to MK. It's been so long since I stayed at a monorail resort...we like the EPCOT resort area and usually stay at BW.

Thanks

My daughter was offered chicken nuggets or mac n cheese in July, but she eats the regular meal so I can't say how either were.

Another suggestion, if time is short is to politely ask your server for the check early in the dinner and have it all squared away. It seems a bit weird, but I know people do it all the time. This way, if you are ready to leave and your server is busy, you don't have to wait for them.

You can not walk from the Poly to the Contemporary. I would think the monorail would be fastest since you get on right near 'Ohana, but if for some reason there is a problem with it, there is also a boat to MK and then you could walk to the Contemporary.

It's suggested always arrive 15 mins early. I'd suggest arriving 30 mins early. Also take the monorail not the boat to MK unless you have a lot of time. The monorail will take 15 mins at the most while the boat will take 10 then you have to walk to Contemporary. Don't want upset tummies from the rushed walking.

Hate to be a dissenting voice, but we have never gotten out of Ohana in less than 2 1/2 hours.

If you check in early and explain the situation to your server--asking for the bill ASAP--you might have a fighting chance, but in my experience, that's not enough time.
