On arrival day, what time should I get there?

We are staying at POR and on our arrival day we have MVMCP tickets for our first time in any of the parks. We will be staying in Tampa for 3 days prior. On our Sunday, check-in day, when would you recommend we get to the resort?

If we're not checked in yet, could we use the amenities of the hotel?

You can check into the resort any time after 6:00 am, but your room may not be ready. You can improve your chances of having your room ready on arrival by doing online check-in and giving them your ETA. They will text or email your room # when it is ready. Once you have checked into the resort that day, you can use all the resort amenities.

You are allowed into the park (on a party ticket) at 4:00 pm, so you will probably want to be at the bus stop an hour ahead of time.
