So what do you think? I begged! I pleaded! Any resort for any 4 day stay from 12-27 thru 1-4!!! I only need a 1 BR!!! AHHHHHHH!! What do you think my chances are? Should I call again or will they really follow up on their end? I don't want to be a pest, but I don't want to miss out either! Thanks gang!

Good luck. The waitlist works wonders. Also, I think 1-br is the easiest to get (probably because the point structure when compared to studio and 2- br).

I remember when I was making my Xmas/NY reservation for BWV at the 11-month window for a standard view room, everything was gone quickly except for the 1-br units.

Just make sure you will have something to fall back if the waitlist does not work out.

Did you tell them you'd take any resort and that you would take it day-by-day? I've been on the wait list for roughly that time period and they have been excellent in calling every time something becomes available. I'm piecing things together.

That said, I think there are quite a few people on the wait list. There may not be a lot of movement right now but things could open up closer to the date. If you really want to be at WDW, I'd get a back up and then sit back and see what happens over the next month or two. Consider the possibility that you may be able to get everything except 12/31 and decide if that would be workable.

THanks for your responses! I'm hoping for a miracle. This was a real last minute thought and I haven't mentioned it to the kids so if it doesn't work out, so be it. Maybe I'll see how the hotels are looking for that period. Keeping my fingers crossed regardless! Now onto packing for HHI!!!!! Yea!!!!!!

You might check out the rent/trade board. I beleive I saw some folks trying to rent their holiday reservations. I just rented out my OKW for 12/28-1/02/04(for the first time) to another DVC member who didn't want to borrow next year's points. I'm staying at the Swan CL for the same time at a great teacher's rate and the Epcot/MGM location will be convenient for NYE.
