Should you still hit Fantasyland first or the big rides? We are expecting lots of people

Since everyday during the summer is going to be some type of Early Entry to Disneyland, -Tues, Thur, Sat Sun for hotel and magic morning ticket holders and Mon, Wed, Fri for AP's - it will be interesting to see how the Park will be affected.

We hit the rides that will have the longest waits later in the day. Sure, Peter Pan can break half an hour or maybe even 45 mins on very busy days, but that is nothing compared to Space Mt and it's 60-90+.

My last few trips (Feb 2012 and Aug 2011, post STours 2.0) I did like this:

Grab FP for Star Tours. Ride Star Tours. Ride Space Mt. Grab FP to Space Mt. Ride Matterhorn (okay, closed in Feb), Ride Indy. Grab FP to splash. Ride BTMRR. Ride pirates or mansion. Grab FP to Indy. Ride the pirates or mansion not already done.

If you can get those 7-8 rides and 4 FPs in your pocket within the first 2 hours or so, the rest of the day is cake.

Then head into Fantasyland.

We like to head straight to Peter Pan, Dumbo then Matterhorn, most of our other faves have FPs.

It depends on your priorities and whether you have already done FL rides on a different day. If you want to ride more FL rides that is a good time to do it. Even so we usually snag a FP on the way to FL. Star Tours is a tood option for this these days because the FP machines are closest to the hub.

Do what's most important to you.

Some days we head to Fantasyland. Others we head to Indy. Other days, other rides! Just depends on what is most important to you that day.

I have a 6 year old and one trip we did BLAB 33 times in 3 days...the CM knew us well.

When we went in February, we headed to the trains first. Took it to New Orleans square and went to Critter Country and Frontierland. No waiting in lines for the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Pirates or Splash Mountain.

I think it really depends on where you want to go first.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but do you know when APs will start having MMs? We head to DLR June 2-7 and i'm selfishly hoping it is sometime after that! Thanks!!

You are in luck, Annual Pass Early Entry begins June 18th. :)

Where are the FP machines located for Star Tours?
Across the walkway next to the Buzz LY ride. In fact when ST2 came out last summer they just changed the Buzz FP machines to be ST2 machines. Buzz lost FP because it was no longer needed.
