Has anyone ever stayed in the villas at this resort? THey look lovely, but what I really like is that although a villa, it has all the resort amenities like room service, spa, restaurants etc. The price is 370.00 p/n which may seem high, but cheaper than 2 rooms at a deluxe.

Any thoughts?

I actually have friends coming in tomorrow and they are staying in a villa at the Omni. I'm headed over there tomorrow afternoon. I will get a first hand look for you!

We stayed in a hotel room at that resort in 2005. We really liked (and used) the pools, with the slide, the zero entry and the smallish lazy river. One downside, parking was F A R. Hopefully, there is parking closer to the villas. Are the villas located in separate buildings?

We really like that area for getting to Disney, taking either I4 for Old Lake Wilson. Trafic on either can be heavy at times, Old Lake Wilson was deserted until they built Reunion.

That would be great. Thank you.

If the cost doesn't bother you, you should also checkout Reunion, right next door I believe. High end villas, pool homes, etc, on a championship golf resort, daily maid service, restaurants, pools, etc. (But like Omni, it's expensive). Personally we prefer to save a little $$ and do without daily maid service and rent a pool home up the road at Windsor Hills, but I can see how there's a market niche for the higher end places you mention. The homes are Reunion are gorgeous, even nicer than Windsor Hills (and I own there, so I don't say that easily! LOL).

I got to visit my friends at the Omni villas yesterday. The villas are very nice. Similar to a 2 bedroom villa at a DVC resort. The furnishings were a little nicer then DVC though. I didn't get a chance to look at the grounds but the villa was very nice.
