Actually,it is fair.Staff wouldn't give there locAtion,agae,phone number,to anyone.While other players may do that.

Actually, I'm wondering what took them so long to get to that point. Staff should not be restricted by the same lame dictionary that we are. They need to be able to communicate clearly when talking with or helping players.

Yes, I agree that it took them longer than it should. Are CLs allowed to use numbers? If they are supposed to help other players it would be beneficial to use numbers.

I still don't get it, staff could be bad. They could use it to give out some personal info. I think we should be able to say like 10hipporugs without spaces. That way nobody would be able to use numbers in a BAD way.

The chances of VMK staff being 'bad' are so extremely low it's not funny. They get paid to work on VMK, they are professional people who are not going to jeopardize their livelihood and paychecks to 'be bad' on VMK.

I've run online games for years. The staff and those running the game often need to be outside the limitations of the game in order to do their job and run the game successfully.

I don't think CL's should be in that same group. As others have said, CL's could be anyone. You get selected to be a CL based on a few questions they ask and probably a brief review of any logs they have of what your character might be doing. That's it. They don't know who the person is, there's nothing similar to the extensive interview process that getting a job with VMK would entail.

While I don't like having to think sideways to communicate on VMK, the reasoning behind the restrictions is quite sound. They are doing the best they can to protect the kids this game is designed for. It makes it difficult for those of us who aren't out to be bad but in the world we live in, it's sadly required.

It is based on the laws governing web chat sites for under 13 years old. I don't know the specifics but it is the law. Regarding staff at vmk I a quite positive all disney park and VMK staff have background checks before being hired, even I did for my job.
