Hi,
Well the bank of yet has dried up. I had some codes I have been saving and put a few in each day. I just tried some. The code gives you the ride car but no longer gives you the 200 credits. And if you sell the ride car it gives you 5 credits instead of 50.

This really stinks. If they wanted to change it it should have been on new codes not ones all ready won. Poor Grumpy when he finds put-our gnome will be heart broken:confused3

The codes for level 1 (the pin) and level 2 (the room) also sell back for 5 credits now.:sad2: I agree, this is getting very tiring! What is the purpose?

Darn, I used to like to play that game for relaxation--just shut my brain off (like I used to do with Pirates against the computer). However, I'm surprised that the game lasted as long as it did? I guess we should be thankful for almost a full year (give or take a bit) of Yeti codes!!
Just my two cents.

OH , ok... ;) I am grateful, but can I still be disappointed too?

HeHe!! Oh, I guess if you MUST!
My point is that it was an ad for Expedition Everest, and I'm surprised that they had it around for that long. I know you know what I mean, but I wasn't specific in my above post.

Disappointed would be putting it mildly in my case.....

They have not discontinued the game; it is working and it's still a VMK promotion for Expedition Everest. There was absolutely no reason they had to take the credits away, though.

Bummer. I guess it was too good to last. For those of us who are still beginners at Fireworks & Pirates (and new to VMK) this was my only hope of getting a decent amount of credits. Sigh, I guess I'll just have to accept being poor in pixel life too. Or try to get much better at Fireworks.

Wow, time flies doesn't it? I can't believe its been a year since this game came out, but it has! With the credits being lowered, makes me wonder how much longer the game will be around. Then again, skull rock is still alive and those codes get you 10 credits per item sold, except the room, I think its only 5. The map table, skeleton at helm and treasure chest were 10 last time I tried though. Its just another thing to add to the list of VMK mysteries. Our precious yeti credits. :sad1:

I understand making the pirate codes only good for 5 credits as there was a problem with people making code generators...were they also having a problem with people generating Yeti codes improperly? I'm sure glad all the innocent people get punished for it. :sad2: They have taken away the high credits from fireworks, and now yeti...and I just don't have the time to sit through game after game of fireworks and pirates to get the kind of credits needed to buy enough of each new items for my girls and I. It's their game, their choice, but I won't be logging as much time with it. It's just beginning to be too much of a time vacuum. I hope they can figure out a way to punish only the people taking advantage of these mini-games and not lump us all in together.

What I don't think is right is that I just did the codes a few days ago and it said that you get 200 credits plus VMK cart. I have not tried it tonight to see if it has changed the wording. I just put some of those codes in from then and the cart is all i received.. Now that is not fair.:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Can we use Conatact us and complain about false advertising? :rotfl2: Game and the page with the code still says 200 credits. Seems to be a trend to take things away, old fireworks game, the VMK card that USED to give 500 credits and now YETI.

I did check that tonight, and no, the wording has not changed. It still says you win 200 credits and the Everest ride car at the end of the game.

Which gives me some faint hope that this is merely a mistake on somebody's part and we'll see it corrected at some point.

You've got that right, lol.

I can only hope that the reason for this credit change is that adjustments will be done to costs of items or credits in games will be increased.

I do play VMK alot (always in Mini-Games), but for those kids who do not get the opportunity to play a bit, how are they expected to earn? Please VMK tell me something will be changing with costs or increased credits.

I guess if you look at it - NPC Collecting and Nedding are considered Minimum Wage on VMK. Learning Mini-Games is College. Then after acquiring your mini-game skill - this is your entry level job salary, forever.:confused3

Hope I'm wrong, but doubt it very much. Seems to be a trend to make it harder to easily earn credits.

Prices have always gone up in VMK, not down. I don't think they're about to start now.

VMK doesn't appear to have any qualms about reducing our credit-earning power. As Coasterguy said, they are quite in the habit of taking stuff away.

The wording hasn't changed but the credits have. I just checked. The ride couches are definitely 5 credits, the rooms 5 and no longer does episode three give 200 credits.

If they're going to keep increasing the credit prices for things and make it more and more difficult to earn credits then I'm going to have difficulty staying interested. I don't expect it to be super easy but for those of us who don't have lightning fast reflexes this seems really harsh. I hope there will be some other game we can do to earn some decent credits.

Please tell me the stock pile of 75 ride cars that I have saved in multiple rooms are still worth more than 5 credits  My gosh, I was counting on those to help me buy the new hats that are coming out :sad1:
