The last contestant, a little boy who was 9 (but looked like he was 5). His parents said he was dx'd with autism, and his preschool bus driver remarked one day that he sang all the way to school everyday. He was beyond adorable!!! He said his favorite group was the Jackson 5, and sang (I can't remember teh title of the song, but he captured everyone's heart). He was well-spoken, but very literal. Meaning, I don't think he had any filters that other kids have developed by that age. Wow!!!!! If this gets one person curious to find out more about autism, it'll be a blessing. He was just so utterly innocent and charming. Really the best of what our children represent. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Did anyone else see this?

I saw him. He was so sweet.
He talked just like my nephew who has Asperger's - very precise.
That was amazing to see any 9 yr old child get up there in front of everyone and with all those bright lights shining on them, much less a 9 yr old with autism. Good for him:thumbsup2

He was a cutie! He was asked something like, "Do you know that you just stole the hearts of every American?" He answered very seriously, "No." :) (I thought the little girl who made it through the other week was better, as far as children on the show go, however.)

But some of those other acts makes one wonder what on earth is wrong with some ppl?!?!?!?!?! Like the large-chested lady! LOL!!!!!!!
