omg what have I done??

I had an ADR at Le Cellier for dinner at 7:20 on August 21st for me and my 2 dds.

Well, it was going to just be the 3 of us as a girls vacation thing with me and my 2 older girls but I started feeling really bad leaving my youngest and dh home. I know DH wanted to with us to WDW but we both thought it would be cheaper for him and little dd not to go.

SO..as a surprise, I bought them plane tickets and changed the reservation package. I even almost paid the whole thing off and he has no idea
I think it will be a great surprise.

Anyway...I had to change all my ADRs for a party of 5. I was able to chaneg everything...EXCEPT LeCellier..they couldn't fit 5 at that time and EVERYTHING for dinner is booked up SOLID...6 mos ahead of time...AMAZING. Even the CM was like oooohhh noooo I can't believe you have to give this up!!! she kept saying it. lol
We could have gone for lunch but I wanted a TS that night because we are leaving the next day, I wanted a nice farewell dinner.

Oh well, maybe next time. We are eating that night at the San Angel Inn. I hope DH likes it.

That is sooooo awesome that youre doing that!!! I am sorry you had to give up Le cellier but now you have the entire fam to go with you!!! How exciting for you to be able to give them such a wonderful surprise! I am sure you will be able to find something else

Thank you. I do hope he is happy. I mean, he should be, I am just hoping he doesn't complain that we didn't need to spend the money, bla bla. I hope he just is all YEAY OMG THATS GREAT!! lol

ANd yeah, we are going to go to San Angel Inn in Mexico at Epcot. I have never been but always wanted to and they have steak, which dh will want.

I like the San Angel Inn..I know it gets a lot of criticism but I enjoy the atmosphere and love love love all mexican food.

Every single time we go on that little boat ride I always always say NEXT time we come to WDW, we are going to eat there! Or, Ohhh smells so good, I wanna eat there!! I just love how dark it is and how it looks like you are outside.

Definitely think you made the right decision. One restaurant cannot compete with a whole holiday of memories, I don't care how good it is. And hey, money is just money...we can't take it with us when we go, so we might as well live while we're here. As long as it's not leaving you homeless when you get back, I say 'good choice'

Just a suggestion: If you'd like to go to Le Cellier, KEEP TRYING the WDW ADR line (DAILY). There might just be a cancellation that you can pick up. If not, you still have your ADR in Mexico. If you DO get the Le Cellier one, make sure you cancel at Mexico, to again help spread the "wealth" around, but, don't give up if you want it! You never know when you might get a little

you can also try first thing when they open that day, you never know sometimes there is room for walk ups. enjoy!

Dh is going to Sarasota, FL in two weeks with 2 friends to watch some spring training baseball and all that. A guy's week and I am good with that, he enjoys it and he does it every year. Then I take my vacation in August sometime like last year I did WDW with my mom and dd and the year before I went to Ft. Lauderdale with 2 of my friends. And yes, we also take a family vaca but last year we went to New Hampshire for a long weekend, the year before that, we did WDW. We weren't going to do a family one this year because I was going to spend more on my trip than normal. But then, like I said, I felt bad. I want them all there with me and I know dh is taking a vacation week that week because he would have been staying home with little dd.
I can't wait.
