Just got a phone call from Matt at school, got an A in English so no need to re-sit. Its his favourite subject so he will be pleased.

Well done to Matt! English was my favourite subject too, I ended up doing it as my degree.

Ellie also got her maths results yesterday. She took her GCSE early just 2 weeks after she had her tonsils and adenoids out (so poor love wasn't really at her best.) Anyway, she got a B, so we are all chuffed for her! She's still not sure if she should re-sit, but at least she doesn't have to!

the coolest subject with the coolest teachers is deffinently food technology..
i frequently use my food porn pictures from wdw as my lesson (hey its multi cultural) the kids get to eat at the end of my lessons!!
well done (seriously) to Matt and Ellie on their results, less and less kids feel the need to to impress in exams (well the kids i teach) and its good to see kids achieving with parental support.
i would just like to add with they got A*,a, b or c it doesnt matter really, all coleges and unis want is c s and i had to re order my gcse certificates when i went back to uni, couldnt remember where i had put them,

My other DD, Mitzi definitely agrees! She came out of school yesterday telling me all about the heart shape cup cakes she had made. All I got was the description, because they had already been eaten!
