Holy cannoli. As of half an hour ago, I am OFFICIALLY employed! By the county! As a library page! I can hardly believe it myself, but there it is. I'll be getting a drug test tomorrow, discussing scheduling with the librarians, cleaning my nicer clothes and maybe even getting NEW ones- I can hardly freaking believe it! This is just TOO COOL!

An actual job, with actual wages! Who'd have THOUGHT?! I haven't been this excited in ages. Hee!

Well its not "work" because you dont get payed.
BUT
It sounds perfectly awesome, because then I get to se new books,old books.
The best of the best reads. I can tell what people liked and what people didnt like.

Thanks for the congratulations, everyone. I'm sooo psyched about this! And Jenny, the job mostly entails... well, shelving. Shelving, shelving, and more shelving, and eventually learning to check people out and such. XD But I'm really excited about just working in the library! I love our library and am already friendly and familiar with a lot of the librarians and the library, (I've volunteered there for the last few summers, which definitely helped me land the job,) and can't wait to get started.

A peice of paper that allows you to work. Usually you have to fill out and so does your prospective employer. Unless you're 16. Then you don't.

Tecnically (with a work permit) you can work at 14 but nobody will hire you because nobody wants to fill out those papers.

Well, since I'm going down to Montana to visit my mom. And the city is kind of boring. I will probably work in Hastings. It's a book/movie rental store. Well, you buy the book but rent the movies lol.

Plus, teenagers usually work there. So I can maybe make a few friends during the summer. I don't know anyone my age down there >_<
