Oh the UPS horror stories that I have.
The latest...I'm a pampered chef consultant and did a show in July. Two boxes shipped to my house. They tried to deliver one on a Monday, and posted a message of "no such street" on the website. Same thing with the other box on Tuesday. NO SUCH STREET???? I've lived here for 6+ years and UPS had just delivered something to my house 3 weeks earlier. And I live on a major street.
Called to verify the address was correct. Asked them to take my sister's name off the box just in case that confused them. Wednesday, one box arrives, but not the other. Call again and am told it's on the truck, should be delivered that night. It's not. I call again at 9:30 pm. They log a formal complaint and will have local delivery call me the next day. He calls and says "can't find anything on that package". UGH!! Need to call back to 800# to start a lost package process. I call and am told that I can't start the process because I'm not the shipper.
I call pampered chef and they start the process and agree to re-ship, but will not re-ship to me, so I have them send to a friend at work.
That night I get a call from UPS that the lost package is my fault because I changed the address. I can't tell you how many times I went back and forth with the woman telling her I didn't change the address.
Two days later, box mysteriously shows up on my front porch. Original label with the correct address.
My husband likes it when they screw up because then he gets to listen to me argue with them. It's never their fault!
