OMG- RT DTW to MCO $117.00

Just have to post this- just booked on AirTran nonstop $49.00+tax each way=$117.00. Booked 10/29-11/07. They had most of their NS flights $49.00 and other flights at $77.00. I booked 4 RT tickets-can't drive for that cheap

Darnit, I just checked the website, the times don't work for us and only the departing flight was $49.00. I missed the boat this afternoon. NW had RT for $122.00. I went to call my husband to make sure I could get the tickets and when I came back the price had jumped back up to 170.00.

I want those prices out of MSP! DTW is an NWA hub, too, so why are we stuck with the crap. My dates are over $350pp right now and that is in December!

The flights on NWA and Air Tran have been jumping back and forth for the last 2 days. Especially NWA, The flights will probably be back to $117 by tomorrow I am waiting to book our return flight with them because the time is better for us. Here's to waiting boo!

I think we luck out at DTW because Detroit is a hub for NWA and Spirit... those two always seem to try and match the others prices.

I've been watching for the past month and NWA and Spirit have both been offering r/t this fall for $117 - it fluctuates, but I think you will still be able to get the price if you keep checking.

I haven't seen a "low" fare on Spirit for awhile. I am looking for 8/25 -9/4 (labor day). Departing fare was 105.00 and returning was 228.00!!! I would rather fly Airtran out of Flint, but they haven't been much better lately. I can't stand NW, but they seem to have the lowest prices and the better flight times.
