OMG! Received a beneficiary letter!

I hope you get a great windfall! Please keep us posted.

I'll give a "lowball" estimate just to keep us in reality land:
4752.00.

Hey--good stuff does happen, though--my DH had an uncle who never married, had no children, was a fireman, and by playing the stock market amassed over 1.6 million dollars in his estate. DH got 1/10 of what would have been his mom's--10 kids (Irish) and it was 12,000!!! Gave us the down payment on our first house.:thumbsup2 I guess I should have named my son Robert!

I have been reading all along but have not posted. I would say for the 2 policies $20,682.56.....i really have no clue.....but any money is good money when you least expect it!

This thread has been such fun to follow I Had to add a guess yo. I am figuring if she got the policies from work in the 7's they are small, and her for real one burried her years ago. For a child to be listed as a beneficiary, I say $500ish. A great amount for a cihld then.

My Aunts' MIL passed away about 3 years ago and on the unclaimed money sit there were two met life policies. The two son's were following up on it. I am going real low, like $500 on one and the other $1,000, otherwise the family would have known they were there. When my MIL passed away she had a $1,000 one from RCA.

Hope there is lots of intrest though.
After she retired she may not have thought she still had the policies.
My mom had a $1,000 one.
So unfortunatly I am going on the nice Holiday amount of around $2,000.

:goodvibes I guess I will put a guess in as well. Does it matter if I'm an agent for MetLife?:confused3 My guess is 7,000 and 12,000 for a total amount of 19,000. Whatever you do get, even if it's 500, enjoy it with your family. Spending it on bills would be a shame. We all work so hard in life, a nice gift like this should be paid forward.

I am going to guess $1500-$2000 total. I hope it is much more though!!!!

I agree that you should spend it on something nice for your family and not use it for bills!

:lmao: Alright.... I'll put in my 2 cents (lol) ...... I'm guessing $68,253.00. I hope it's more so you can get that roof fixed and then have some real family fun. :thumbsup2 (p.s. we booked our bounce back trip before we left so you can make my "winnings" payment directly to the Mouse himself!!!!) :rotfl2:

Hmmmm .... my bid for the two policies is ...... $4,728.56.

Don't forget to have your pets spayed or neutered.

Lailah I hope you get your new roof, disney trip and new carpet for the bedrooms :goodvibes

I just started reading which is good because I dont have to wait as long as all of you have.

I cant wait to find out.

Any kind of money right now would be a God send. I get excited when my mom slips me a $100 bill every now and then just because.

Good luck to you and your family.

You would think this is my money coming in, with the way I am constantly checking these boards! I am so excited for you! I hope you get a windfall!
