I am so shocked to learn that there is no FP at TSM.

My family loves this ride from WDW, and will want to ride repeatedly.

What kind of line times can we expect on a weekday in December (9-16th)? Are we going to spend 60+ minutes in line each time we want to ride?

Thanks
Vickie

Sounds right. Today (Sunday) it was about 40 minutes at 11:30am. Single rider was not operating but I think might run later in the day.

When I was there Sept 20-25, during the week there was only about a 20 minute wait. They weren't even operating the single rider. Screamin' was practically a walk-on.

TSMM at DCA has much shorter lines than at DHS. It has an unusual line buildup which surges in the morning - often to 60 minutes on busy days - and then gradually decreases throughout the day. It is usually best to do TSMM first thing or save it for 3PM or later.

Looking at my iPhone app, the wait right now (on a Sunday early afternoon, probably one of the worst times to try to get in line) is 40 minutes.

I am worried about the wait for this ride, since we are during Thanksgiving week. Hopefully we will get to ride it a least once during the week.

Hey, don't discount good planning even during crowded times! And, you just never know about crowds that week. My family was there on the Tuesday just before Thanksgiving two years ago. We had bought AP's after our October trip the month before. We figured if we only stayed 2 hours because of crowds, then at least it was 2 hours at Disneyland! As it turned out, however, the crowds were almost non-existent. Go figure!

TSMM at DCA has a shorter line than what I've heard the FP line for the one at WDW has! :upsidedow
Molly, I do not know for sure because I have not been since TSM opened at DHS. We were there on opening day and rode it four times. Once with FP, once standby (first ride of the day at rope drop), two single rider (which have since stopped offering), and then we had a 2nd FP set we did not use. At least on opening day the FP lines were nothing like that. But I have heard the same rumors as you. It is hard to imagine FP lines that long. :scared1:

Waits were only about 10 minutes first thing in the morning last week. You don't even need to run over there from the rope drop, just spend the first hour that DCA is open riding it over and over. You'll get plenty of rides in.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am a bit more relaxed about it now :-) My kids love this ride and I know they will want to ride it multiple times - as do I as I love it too. :rotfl2: Really it's all about me!!!

At WDW the standby line, FP line and line to even get FP are all crazy. :scared1:

I can't wait for Dec. I haven't been to DL with my kids and the last time my hubby an I were there was Xmas/New Years 99-00 and DCA was just being built then. Soooo excited. :cool1::banana::santa:

Thanks
Vickie
