OMG! Put your kid in a YMCA class, quick!

[Leader of the Club]

My son loves karate. He has taken it since he was 4. After our move there was not a karate class in our area that we could afford. We found affordable Tae Kwon Do classes at our local Y, so he changed disciplines and signed up.

Well, since the class is an hour and 15 minutes or so, it didnt' make sense to drop him off, drive home, leave home, pick him up and return home so I started staying and working out in the fitness center.

Our daughter took the teen fitness class that they offered and now she comes and works out with me, too. My daughter and I are weight lifters! Can you believe it!?

My husband felt excluded, so he started coming along. Wow! Great! Our whole family is getting a great work out at least twice a week.

But wait, there is more!
My in-laws joined the Y and they meet us there. This is so Cool! They have also crossed over to the SBD way of life!

Guess what happened next....
Our next door neighbors joined and then their married daughter and her family joined. We all see each other and visit and work out together.

And all because a kid wanted to take a martial arts class.
