After looking for decent hotel rooms for dec 13-15, and trying to surprise everyone with a little weekend jaunt to see grinchmas, I finally mentioned it to my dh, who asked why we can't stay at the royal pacific? He says once he parks the car, he does not wanna get in it again till we go home.
I would have never thought that they would have anything open with less than 2 weeks to go, but I called them and by gosh, they had a room available for fri and sat night for 119.00 annual pass rate + tax.
So it looks like we will once again be spoiled up at universal. I can't wait!!! I won't care if I get another christmas present, staying onsite again will be more than I need.
:Pinkbounc :bounce:

thank you Barry! And thanks to this board for being here in the first place, without it, this would not be my 4th trip in 2 yrs!!

See you there Bchamp. We couldn't get a rate through the hotel for our Dec 10-14 stay. We booked through expedia for $139 /night. Sounds like you got a great deal!

thanks damo, we will , Iam, sure be by the pool friday night, my hubby will be the one with the budweiser glued to his hand!!
We paid around what you did last easter when we went but we were at the HRH, even at that price, it is so worth it for the convenience of the location and of course " fotl"

Just DS (13) and I are going this time. We were down in the spring and he was so sick that I promised him we would go again before the season's pass wore out. We've stayed at the HRH twice now and loved it, so he decided he would like to try something different. We could have gotten HRH or PBH at the same price believe it or not because they are running a stay three nights get the fourth night free. Watch for me, I'll be the one being forced to ride the coasters over and over and over and...
:p

Ottawa to be exact!! Bet its getting nice and chilly up there for you , huh? It is wonderful down here, weather is perfect, nice during the day and a little cooler at night. Now,will you be the one screaming on the coaster? At least your son can get you on them, my 12 yo has to go with his dad cause I am the type with the queasy tummy......lunch would not be lunch after riding the hulk.

..lunch would not be lunch after riding the hulk.

No, Barb, it would be someone's HAT! :earseek:

Great deal! Have a great time! I WISH they had rates like that during my trip! :(

You are too funny Robin, my son was reading over my shoulder and said " what kind of a hat".......duh???/// some things you just gotta experience to learn about.
I hope to have a wonderful time, thanks!

I feel more queasy after riding Spidey than the coasters. It's the spinning that gets me. I've just learned to conquer the coasters. I rode Millennium Force (305 ft) at Cedar Point twice this summer and actually enjoyed it. DS was so proud! Now he thinks I can ride anything. LOL I've been on Hulk but not DD so this time I'll do them as well.

It was freezing here this morning so we can't wait to go!
