Great news is DFI got a 30% pin:banana: :woohoo: :dance3: . Bad news is that AKL savanna views are gone. Here's what's left:

GF Garden View
Poly Garden View
BC Standard, water and pool, and lagoon club(although since club level is more $$ we're not looking into this)
YC Standard.

So give me all of your pros and cons of these resorts. FI was really excited about seeing the animals and he might need some convincing. Thanks:grouphug:

First off, did you check on a studio AKV savannah view?

Now then pros and cons.

GF: Beautiful. Still pricey to me with 30% off
Poly: This would be my first choice after AKL
BC/YC both close to epcot if that is important to you, both can use Stormalong Bay

I notice you listed only Deluxe hotels - are Moderates not included in your offer or is that your own choice?

My input would be Poly from amongst the hotels listed, or WL woods view if available.

you can see the animals at plenty of places at the AKL without a savannah view room. did tehy have standard or pool view available?

Honestly, they all sound great to me. I would put GF last, personally.

I didn't think to ask about AKV. She just told me what was avaliable out of the deluxes

Since it's our honeymoon, we want to stay at a deluxe for a balcony.

I didn't ask about any other room besides the savanna rooms.

Thanks for you thoughts and opinions. :thumbsup2

I would pick Poly. The garden view rooms have wonderful views in most cases. Not to mention a balcony. It's IMO just a very pretty and relaxing resort.

Hmmm... Poly and GF are on the monorail. YBC are close to Epcot. What about a 1 bedroom villa? You'd have a jacuzzin in your room. I was going to ask about how flexible your dates are, but since it's your honeymoon I'm guessing not at all.

My personal favorites would be the Poly or the Yacht Club. Do you like to spend more time at the Magic Kingdom or Epcot? We love walking around Epcot in the evening when a lot of the crowds have left so I would go for Yacht Club. Plus all the rooms have balconies. Not all BC rooms have balconies.
Just my opinion. :upsidedow

That's good to know about BC. Thanks

The Poly is sooooo romantic and beautiful. The grounds and walking paths with the torches lit at night are fabulous. Food is delicious as well, not to mention watching the Wishes from the resort.

Poly GV. You can monorail easily to MK and it's a very shot walk to the TTC to get the monorail to EPCOT. Not to mention, the grounds/beach are very romantic.
