I can't believe it! It seems like yesterday that I thought I'd never break into double digits.

Let's see... I've started filling a box with things like our misty mates, sunscreen, rain ponchos, medicines, etc. I bought new summer clothes for each of us. I've made several ps's. I got my park hoppers today. Tomorrow I'm making mickey and pooh pillow cases for the kids to use on the trip. Friday I'll get the van serviced.
What else should I be doing??? I KNOW I'll forget something until the very last minute.

Oh well, who cares? I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!:bounce:

Doesn't it feel great !!:)
I have no idea how to help you not forget something! I always forget something....
Oh don't for get your first aid items.... mole skin, bandaids any meds you might need, insect repelant,
Oh yes and the most inportant thing.................................................................
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc

Honey Pots I'm so excited for you! I'd try not to worry too much about forgetting things, especially since it sounds like you'll have your own wheels and can go offsite shopping. Where did you make your PS'? Have fun!

Honey Pots---Looks like we'll be there at the same time! I am jumping up and down right with you! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

How good a feeling is it knowing you are nearly there. Relax and remember you are going to WDW!!!

Hope you have a blast!!

Congratulations to getting to single digits. I'm almost there myself! Don't forget tylenol/advil, Pepto, camera, swim suits, flip-flops or aqua socks.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be there at the same time as all of you!!!

Be sure to wear your lime green...maybe we'll see each other there!!!!! :D

Congrats on the single digit dance!!

We will be there soon. I have started our HUGE list of things to bring!:D

We are doing the single digit dance, also!!! The suitcases are halfway done getting packed, some of the rooms are clean, and all we have to do is get some traveller's cheques.

Don't forget your film and a camera battery! I guarantee that your camera battery will die on the trip if you don't have an extra one in your belongings! This year, we are going digital. I am excited about that!

Everyone have a safe and happy trip!

:earsboy:

Have a blast everybody:Pinkbounc 5 more days and I am starting the single digit dance--yyyiiiiiippppeeee:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Looks like we'll be there the same week as some of you guys!

I'm right there with the rest of you. Some of us will be traveling side by side. I am so excited.

I can't believe it is almost here. WOW!

Looks like a bunch of Texans are heading over at the same time.

It looks like a number of us are leaving on the 31st. Are you driving, flying, walking?????? What time/airport are you leaving from? We might all be on the same plane!

We leave at about 8PM on the 30th from deep, deep South Texas.

Anyone else gonna be on IH10 heading East?

We're flying out of Houston "Intergalactic" airport on Continental. A 7:40 am departure means we've got to be at the airport around 5:40 am!!! YIKES:eek: Translate that to when we have to actually wake up to leave for the airport and you're looking at something a bit earlier than 4am!!!

We made these flight arrangements BEFORE we found out my DD's dance recital is the night before! Maybe we'll all sleep on the plane! NOT!

We are also driving. We will leave home (just west of Ft. Worth) around 4:00 a.m. on the 31st and drive to New Orleans and stay the first night. We will arive at CBR on June 1st around 3:00 p.m.

I would have liked to drive further the first day and get there sooner on 6/1, but my kids really wanted to spend a day in N/O and mileage wise, it's about halfway. We are taking I45 south to Houston and then I10 east since we think we can make better time than we could taking I20 to Shreveport and then I49 southeast through LA to meet up with I10 outside of Baton Rouge. Does that make sense? If you've done this before and I'm wrong, please let me know!

Still bouncing...:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hunnypots, we drove from Bedford (Mid-Cities area) last summer and took the Shreveport to I-49 to Baton Rouge route because parts of I-49 had recently been re-done...worked great for us. I-20 has a couple of miles between Dallas and Shreveport where it goes down to two lanes (one eastbound and one westbound)...but this didn't cause a problem when I drove to Shreveport last weekend.

We're leaving on the 28th, maybe we'll see some lime green in the World. 6:00AM flight...we'll have to get up before 4AM...yikes! But I'd rather be a little tired in Disney than wide-awake at home!

Hey, make room for me ;) ;) ;) ;)

My family of four is flying out of Newark, NJ on Friday, May 30th. I have the lime green ribbon on my backpack (still there from last time). Although I have never seen anyone else with the ribbons. Oh well.

We did do a DIS Illuminations Cruise in 2000 - hello Cleo if you're out there. It's me, AnnaM. Had to change my screen name when my computer crashed.

Well, look for my curly-haired 7 yr old at the pool at the Cont or Poly. That's where we'll be.

Looks like the weather will be great - check the 15 day forecast on Accuweather.com

Have a wonderful time!!!!!!!!

Anna
