I signed up for a race.
Now, I am beyond terrified...
Its an easy community fundraiser 5k walk/run. I checked the stats from last year, and since its a walk run, many of the times were close to an hour. I can definately do that and not finish dead last, which is what I need. Emotionally, I just couldn't handle finishing last
The thing is, I am only doing 2 miles right now. I can walk the third easy, so I am not worried about the distance. But I would like to run it all! I have a few weeks to work on it, so it should be ok.

. I felt the same way when I signed up for my first race. Then I spent the first 1/2 mile of the race saying to myself, "Oh my gosh, I'm actually doing this." It's a great feeling and the energy and excitment that you feel in the crowd on the day of the race will pull you through. Congratulations, you'll do great!
