Well as alot of you know from me posting here on the Dis about me being laid off from my job the end of October and now my DH may get to work 2 days a week if he is lucky.
I swear I would have never thought we would ever have been in this position but we are and we are just going to have to try and get through it.
But anyway I have searched everywhere for a job and there are just not any to be found around here right now. I had called my Aunt a couple of weeks ago to let her know if anything were to come up where she works at to let me know and she said there was nothing at all now and didnt look for anything to open up either.
So she called me just a bit ago and asked if I could go in the morning for an interview
. I would be an Activities assistant and the great thing about it is that my other Aunt is the Activities Director
. Her assistant ended up having to quit for some reason and they thought of me and they want me to come in the morning.
So my Aunts best friends is over the whole establishment and they have already been talking about me.
It is less than what I was making by a few dollars an hour but heck it is a job and I cant complain right now. I would be working M-F from 8-5 and off every weekend.
I will get all the specifics about the job tomorrow but from how it sounds now I have the job.
So please if you could say a prayer for me I would appreciate it.
We so need this right now we just moved into our new house that we started building the beginning of last year. If we would have only knew then what we know now we would have never done this but we didnt and we just have to take it one day at a time and hope and pray that things get better.
I still may have to take on a part time job in the evenings or on the weekends for awhile but we cant let our house be forclosed on so I will do what I have to do. We do have some savings put back but we are having to dip into every month since October and it is really going down quick.
If things dont pick up for DHs work in the next few weeks he may have to totally get out of his current job and do something else. He really dont want to have to do this because he has a Big job coming up the 2nd quarter and it will be alot of money. But if he gets into doing something else there is no way that he would be able to take the time off from a new job to be able to go do this one and we need the money from this. So he is kind of stuck right now.
But he is so depressed and doesnt think that he is being the Husband he should be and cant provide for me like he should be, he is just having a really hard time with this. I just keep telling him that he has provided me with the best life and that i would not have it any other way.
So if you have stuck with me this far ,Thank You.
