OMG, I just got scared!!!

I'm sitting here reading stuff on the DIS and suddenly I hear what appears to be an airplane. (we live near a small country airport) and it sounds LOUD, a low sounding rumble/buzzing, and the floor starts trembling. I look out the window and fully excpect to see an airplane crash through our window. Nothing happened, the loud buzzing went away. But I think we just got buzzed by an airplane, not sure what the term is for it.

I called DH and he told me to call the cops, the planes are not supposed to be that low.

I did call them, don't think they can actually do anything about it, but I guess it was the right thing to do and let them know.

We had that one morning and we were being buzzed by a very low plane- the wheels actually hit my neighbor's roof.
We called the police and they said they knew who it was and he would be fined.
Great but can you keep him off my house.
Glad it was nothing major.
