OMG! I just got an email 30% off code!

Two weeks ago, my divorce was final, and my last name legally changed to my maiden name. So last week I opened a new account with Disney online, and used my maiden name. I ordered a DVD in my maiden name too. Well, I just got an email code for 30% off. I am uncertain by the way it reads if I can only use it on a value resort. I am so excited!

Oh, and it definitely had to do with ordering the DVD! Because it says you will be excited to know your DVD is on it's way. So keep on trying folks, the code emails are there.

I just got my DVD yesterday, in fact the kiddos are watching it right now, and no code for me I'm wondering if I should open an account with dh name since we've always done everything in my name I wonder if it would make a difference

I didn't get a cold either. But when my vacation dvd came it had a card in it for another dvd so I filled it out in my mom's name. If she gets a code that's great as long as she goes with me. If she gets a code and doesn't.. it sucks for me. LOL!

When I got my DVD, the paper inside said "We're thrilled to hear you're thinking about taking a WDW vacation in September. I didn't get a code with it, or a postcard with a code saying my DVD is on its way, or an e-mail.

I am wondering now if I didn't get a code because when I requested the DVD online I checked the place asking when I wanted to come. Since I basically said I was already coming, maybe that's why I didn't get a code before I got the DVD.

I cannot tell the way the email reads what exactly it is for... I will call and find out when I return from my trip next week. We are leaving for the Poly tomorrow... so I will call when I return.

What is really neat is the email has this link on it, and when you click it sends you to the Disney site, with a headline that says, "A Dream Offer for the ****** Family!" It is all personalized. Pretty cool!

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones. I ordered the DVD close to 2 mths ago and still have no DVD and definitely no code.

I totally think this is why you did not get one.......register again with another email and dont check off that you are going or even if you have ever been. Sorry if this is "cheating" but thats how I got a code and was able to stay onsite as opposed to off site. So they are making money from us now.

I also received the e-mail with a pin (code?) We were there last Oct.2007 and are thinking of going again this Oct. I emailed (about 2 weeks ago) for another 2008 DVD and received the e-mail yesterday. I used my same name and informed them in my e-mail I was there last year. I am not sure the 30% is good; we booked last year with AAA and it seemed like a great deal ( I believe 40% discount) and it was really easy with them, besides I like Jet Blue and Disney doesn't offer this airline, AAA does.

The code may say it's valid for Values, however it can be applied to moderates and deluxes too.

I have them holding ressies for me at poly (did it last night I'm to impatient waiting for my dvd to come) so I was wondering if I should cancel and wait and see if I get a code in my dvd because I still haven't gotten any e-mails.

I ordered the DVD and got a code soon after, within a week. I had put in our dates and the code is good for those dates but says value only and shows a price of $99 a night in October. I can get it cheaper through AAA. I think I will try and call to see if I can get a discount at one of the moderates.

Can I ask what the dates were for the availability of the PIN code? I also got one a while ago when we ordered the planning DVD, but the time we wanted to go was not included. I'm hoping there is some code out there that does apply to our dates (that I can get by ordering another DVD in DH's name or something like that.

It works!!! I ordered a planning DVD in my maiden name to be sent to my in-laws house. I got a call from my father-in-law yesterday that I had received an envelope saying my DVD was on the way, but that the DVD was there also. Inside the envelope thing was a code for 30% off.

We had ordered another DVD through my husband's name to our house, but the DVD arrived before the envelope. We just received that, and it had a 20% off code inside.

I never did receive an email with any code inside, though. But, the code was good for when we're going in December! Yeah!
