I know they don't go from DTD to the parks, but I just can't remember if they go from the parks to DTD??? We leave in 2 days and it is really important for my plans.
TIA, Melissa

I don't think they do, but you can take the bus to Saratoga Springs and then either catch the DTD bus from there or walk along the lake to DTD.

No, the buses do not go directly from the parks to DTD. You can get a bus to DTD from any of the resorts.

As previously stated there is no travel either way between any of the parks and Downtown Disney. This is so people don't park for free at DTD and take the bus to the parks. To get to DTD from a park or vice versa you will have to transfer to any resort then on to DTD. Give yourself plenty of time. It takes about 1 hour to do this. Or if you time is valuable you could always pay for a Taxi.

Thanks for the replies! That's what I thought. The reason I asked was because we are staying at Riverside and I thought it would be nice to hit DTD after the parks closed then later take the boat back to the resort. Its no big deal just wanted to be sure.
Thanks again!!

My recommendation, if you are coming from MK, you can take a monorail to one of the resorts and then a bus to DTD. If you are coming from DHS or Epcot, take a boat to Boardwalk or Yacht/Beach then a bus to DTD. If coming from AK, take the first bus you see. Make transportation part of the adventure!

I took the bus back to Riverside and then the boat to DTD when I planned the same thing. It was a nice break off my feet and the boat ride was very relaxing.

Then I took the boat back to Riverside when I was ready to call it a night. Luckily the weather cooperated so the boat kept running since I much prefer the boat to the buses.

When doing that the OP should know that the Monorail Resorts share bus service to Downtown Disney so it's not going to be a direct ride. Personally when coming from Magic Kingdom I would take the bus to Saratoga Springs, get off at the Congress Park stop and from there use the walkway to Downtown Disney.

This is what I do. Short, pleasant walk.
