OMG I am so excited I got AKL CL

I was calling about canceling our dates for our Dec trip since we don't want the room we booked and want to change our dates a little and I will try at our 7 month mark. Well while I was on the phone I asked to see if they had a studio available in CL for March when DH and I were talking about going by ourselves. Well they had it!! We orignally wanted 6-12 but they only had 7-12 so I jumped on it. DH is now talking about the 5-12 but I talked him into trying the Poly CL and we will book 2 nights there on cash. So excited right now!!

Now to keep my fingers crossed that I have such great luck when I call for a BLT room for Dec.

I wonder if you got the studio that I gave up when walking my concierge reservation for next March? We ended up with a studio for March 12-20 but originally I booked starting March 5 (I think) and walked it forward to get to the dates I wanted.

Now we may end up giving up the 12-20, too, if we can use my in-laws' RCI points to make a DVC reservation for next March. They have way too many points and are at risk for losing some of them if they don't start booking vacations with them. I will only give up AKV concierge if we can get something decent through RCI though. Right now only OKW and Saratoga are open so I'm not interested. I'd rather spend my DVC points and keep AKV. But if AKV, BCV,BWV, VWL open up through RCI, we'll give up concierge for the trip and move to using the RCI points.

I probably did. I know the CM was shocked it was available. We are not 100% sure we are going to go but right now we are 99%. We had talked about going again in March when we came back but that was it. So when I called and it was available I snapped it up knowing once I had that it would make it a guarantee. Now I just have to hope my mom will watch the kids LOL
