OMG! Huge snowstorm for NE!--UPDATE POST # 21!

Just remember guys, persistance is the key!!! In December hubby and I had a 7a flight on Continental and a snow/ice storm was predicted to hit overnight. I begged and pleaded with the airline and on my 4th phone call I got someone who said sure we'll change your flight!! Hubby and I quick got the kids dinner and left for the airport. The flight was slightly delayed but we got to Disney earlier. So keep trying they would rather get you out early than sitting in the airport Sunday morning!! Keep calling and I will send you lots of pixie dust for a great vacation!!!

I just decided to call Delta again, we are booked on a flight for 6 am tomorrow and they aren't charging us because of the blizzard watch on the east coast. I had called at least 7 times this morning and right after noon. They just issued the release of all flights to get people out ahead of the storm. Anyone else, call and try to get out sooner!! Thanks you guys. Your pixie dust worked!!!! I am going to try to get a room at WL, Poly or CR for just the one night to make it extra special. Thank you all for your kindness!

We live in Wakefield MA. Just watched channel 5 news! Sorry to say I think we are going to get hit hard. They are saying 6-12 starting early evening with severe winds(30-60mph) Try to get out Tomorrow.. Good luck and have a safe flight.

If you can do it, pay extra and enjoy Disney and the Fl weather!
It's been such a tease with this spring-like weather and now SNOW...grrrrr
Hopefully it'll all be melted by the time you get home and you won't have to shovel all weekend like the rest of us NE's!!!

Looks like I will be stuck in Boston. I am here for work and by the time we are done there will be no flights out on Saturday. I don't know that waiting until Monday will make it any better.

I just got a room at CBR for our extra night! Tried to get a deluxe but they were booked solid!!! Hope we catch up. Thanks. I only have 9 1/2 hours until we drive out the drive! Have a safe flight on wed!
