OMG,Am I The Only One Sick?

I am so sick .I was in the bed yesterday till 3:00PM and today I am just now getting up.I went to the Dr yesterday and he told me it was a Viral Bug.They done a Strep test and Flu test and both were negative.
DH came home early Thursday from work and had been to Urgent Care,He was diagnosed with Full blown Influenza.So I took care of him all weekend and now I am so sick.My chest hurts so bad,my nose hurts,my throat is sore and my eyes and head hurts.
I just want to get better.
So does anyone else fill like a big pile of S***.
OK,my pity party is over.Just needed to whine.

Well my poor brother and sil have three girls ages, 6,4, and 9mos. The two older ones have an ear infection and strep. The baby has the tummy bug. Even their cat is on some type of antibiotic. I told him...no hard feelings but STAY AWAY from me. The worst part is SIL works for an accountant so she is working extra hours and cant afford to be sick herself.

I think I have bronchitis.

My DS got sick on Sat all of a sudden, and I think he was kind enought to give it to me. What sucks is that I stayed home from work with him on Mon when he was sick, and now I don't want to call in to work again. It was all I could do to drag myself in this morning.

DS told me this morning that his germs went to me because I must be moister, and germs like moist.

Aww.. I am so sorry you are sick. I completely empathize with you. I too have been sick, but with a sinus infection. It has lasted now three weeks! Second trip to the Dr. yesterday and he was even shocked. He said, "I gave you the strongest dose of antibiotics I could! And you still have it! This is bad indeed."

It is worrisome when the Dr. says it is bad! So, he tells me he is giving me a shot! An antibiotic shot. He comes back in with three needles! He gives me allergy shots too or something -- I was so out of it with congestion and fear that I really don't know what he shot me with.

Today I stayed home to rest. Whatever was in those shots have begun to work -- like a miracle last night I was able to breath out of my nose for the first time in 3 weeks! I'm still sick, but what a blessed relief it is to breathe again!

Stomach bug here, and I'm the fourth person in my household to get it. I just ate the first thing I've had since Sunday -- cross your fingers for me. I feel really bad about work since I had a big thing going on, but I'm only out of bed for about a half hour at a time.
