OMG!!! ADR computer system is DOWN!!

Ok, so I woke up and got on the phone to WDW-DINE at 4:00 am my time to make my 90 days ADR's.

Patiently waited 55 minutes on hold only to be told the computer system has crashed globally. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! The castmember apologized and asked that I try back tomorrow.

She also apologized that I was stuck in the "loop" and therefor didn't get the message telling me that the computers were down. Nothing like a 55 minute long distance charge for nothing!!

I am going back to bed!
 
SAME scenario, but he said that it would be up in an HOUR, so CALL later, I would NOT delay!!!
I was calling for my last day or adrs and it has not been an easy task this year....

Ok, so I just called back and there is NO message warning you?? The CM I spoke to said a message had been added...apparently not because I am still getting the "your call should be answered in 30 minutes" which is the same thing I heard 1 hr and 8 minute ago!!

Arrrgggghhhh! I really am going back to bed.
 

I booked two reservations this morning. There was a problem, the CM put me on hold for about 5 - 8 minutes. Felt like a LONG time. But the reservations went through.
 
Okay - got through to ADR this morning AT 7:30 A.M. (est) (after 30 minutes on hold) made all the reservation for 10 Days! CM put me on hold to wait to give me my reservation confirmation #'s and we got disconnected!!!

I'm on hold NOW, does anyone know or have this happen to them, will they still have my reservations in the system, or am I, as they say, "s-crewed?"

Called back, waited 30 minutes on hold - CM told me the system went down at 8:08! :scared1:

She did say, "there is a chance" that my reservations are still in the system.

My dw :mad:is going to kill me, this was my job for the day!
 
So I am on hold right now for no reason!!!!:scared:

8:16 Eastern time: HANG UP!

I just called back, again, and hit the prompt for "I want to make a ressie for today" and was on hold for 12 minutes and was then told that the system for 90 days and out is still down and to call back in 1 hour.

That CM told me she was mid-booking when it crashed and she lost all of that persons ADR's....I feel bad for that person...to be soooooo close!

Ok, really, I am going back to bed...if I can sleep now!!
 
Same thing here!! I got through at 7:05 and I am thinking GREAT...then it went down hill. The CM on the phone initially had a hard time it took 5 minutes for her to tell me that there were no Fantasmic dinners available for 8/20. Then she thought it was just her system and was going to transfer me but then decided to try my other ADRs but nothing was available, then she said her whole system was down. She transferred me back in and said it would be 30 minutes, well it was 45 and the next CM said I have to transfer you my system is down, waited another 15 minutes and then was told the whole system was down and I had to call back. :confused3
 
It must be my lucky day, my reservations went though. My cast member didn't transfer me when I was having issues with HS reservations, we just continued on until I had all days covered with something. She said to try back this afternoon to change the two I wanted at HS. I was so worried because this is a group of 9, and was waiting to be dissapointed. If I am able to get the other two later I will be thrilled. I hope you guys get what you want when it comes up. I was surprised that I didn't have an issue with Le Cellier (wanted lunch), Chefs de france, Chef Mickey's, or Cindy's breakfast.

I got through again - CM told me the system will be down at least an hour!:scared:

I told her, "I feel for you, hope you don't have a lot of angry people", It's not the CM's fault.

That was me! I don't know if it was really me that the CM was talking about, but we were booked for Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, Yachtmen's Steakhouse, and the Poly Luau. Bam! All gone! This was after a 50 minute wait to get to a rep.
 
I had made all my reservations and the CM was about to give me my confirmation number when we got disconnected - when I called back the system was down, the CM told me I have a 50-50 chance my reservations are still in the system, but won't know until the system is back up. One bright side to this whole mess is no-one can make reservations!
 
The CM I just got off the phone with said 20-30 minutes until the system is back up. It's not a major inconvenience for me today, I only had one DTD dinner to make, but if this had happened yesterday while I was trying to book my CRT lunch, I would have been a LOT less understanding!

Hope it comes up sooner rather than later for those who have must-do reservations today!
 
I'm on call #3. I've been on the phone on and off for 2 and 1/2 hours. I have not one reservation booked yet. I had gotten 4 through the first time and then I was diconnected. (told later none of them got confirmed so I have zilch) Second time told computers were down, third time got all the way to giving my cc for my Epcot princess vreakfast and that wouldn't go through. So now I'm transferred again and holding. Perfect!:lmao: And we get to PAY for these calls. :eek: Wouldn't be as bad if they were toll free!
 
Girl said she was one of the very few that their computer was working.

She said most was down and I lucked out. Made my 7 days...whew!

KEEP ON TRYING EVERY 5-10 MINS. GOT THROUGH PRETTY FAST ABOUT 3-7 MINS. THREE TOLD ME THEY WERE DOWN,
fourth one was the charm and she booked it. not all are down.
 
We are making our ADRs now and there is absolutely nothing. We have to sit at seperate tables for everything that we did get and our times are all over the place. We are going from the 18th-26th and there was no Primetime dinner that whole time.

Perfect. Those are my exact dates and we wanted Prime Time dinner too :(
 
:goodvibes I lucked out also. :worship: After completing all reservations earlier this morning, when the CM was ready to give me my confirmation numbers - we got DISCONNECTED!!!:scared:

I kept calling back until I finally got a CM with her computer up, she said it was running slow, All my earlier reservations were NOT IN THE SYSTEM!:scared1: However, she said she could take reservations, after taking 3 reservations she would give me my confirmation numbers. She said it kept her computer from crashing!:yay:

:woohoo:Made reservations for all 11 days in August! My DW is going to be so :cloud9: happy, I called her school (teacher) and left her a message - mission accomplished - all days and almost all times requested!):dance3:

I'm glad this site exists! I was avaible to vent :mad: and find others sharing in my anguish:headache:!
