wow i have been so tied up with christmas shopping - kids football matches and other bits

i never realised it was only 10 days to go!!!!

When we came back, I was on the net looking for cheap flights going out BEFORE christmas because we had such a good time. Eventually, reality hits and you realise you just can't be there all the time, but .......

Ive been the opposite way. Ive been so excited about the trip Ive kept forgetting about other things to do with Christmas. Ive never been so disorganised as this year and its just crept up so fast.

You leave the day after we arrive, have you checked out the meet up thread yet?

We are staying at the Holiday Inn, booked late and there were no rooms at any Disney hotels, I see you're at the SL (we're staying there at Easter!)

all but once we have always stayed at the sequoia, twice in a trot we have even had the same room

i have not checked the meet thread, must go over to that one.

trouble is now i have realised how close it is, i dont stop talking about it!!! i am driving everyone round the bend - but they love it really

just been to local travel agents (had a good exchange rate) and changed some up, and my daughter picked up the brochure.....and...............i have done it AGAIN!!!!


i have just booked up for st patricks day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well it is our wedding anniversary on the 15th march and my hubby is irish

well thats my excuse anyway.... and i am sticking to it!!!!

Congrats on booking yet another trip! I must organise our Euros, I had planned to collect them on Friday, but have decided that might be tricky with DD around as she wants to go shopping, so have decided to try and pick some up on my way to work on Thursday. I reckon I could sneak in late, since the boss is going away by Wednesday

Regarding booking restaurants, we don't bother, and I've seen others say they generally got in where they wanted to go. I guess if there is somewhere popular you wish to eat, then it would be worth booking ahead, our favourite restaurant is Annette's though, and you can't book to eat there anyway.

I've just booked for "tea" at the Plaza Gardens on Christmas Day 5.00 pm and Lucky Nuggets for lunch on Boxing Day at 2.00 pm and we'll definitely be at Annette's at least once

What have I done - only 3 days to go and I've not prepared at all. Haven't got my Euros, haven't sorted out how I'm getting from CDG, haven't finished buying my Christmas prezzies, never mind wrapping them, haven't got the food for Christmas Day, (despite the fact I don't get back from DLRP until late on the 23rd and I have 15 people to feed on Christmas day!). I must be mad - I don't finish work until Wednesday and I have to check in for our flight at 4.20 Thursday morning. I'm never going to get it all done. Especially as I'm sitting here instead of getting on with things.


Oh, yeah, just remembered - I have booked our restaurants. Priorities?

Look out for us then, we are sure to be there every day, as it's our favourite restaurant! We tend to go there somewhere between lunchtime and dinner time

Just ordered some Euros on-line from my bank, I intend to divert there on Thursday morning to pick them up, on my way to work. Originally I was going to do it Friday, but DD will have finished school and wants to go shopping, would be difficult to do it with her around (even with the story I concocted about having to pick something up for my Father-in-law from the bank )

My kind husband has volunteered to spend his lunch hour going to the bank tomorrow for me.
