I love it, brings me back to our family's Little League Days-DH was President of Little League for our town, and both sons were very active in Little League. I can really feel the emotions of the players and Moms!

The "debacle" over Jordan Chiles isn't done yet, from what I heard. I hear that the American Coaches are appealing the appeal. Who knows when it will all end.

Probably two years from now, if the last figure skating competition is any indication of how long an appeals process can take.

Yeah, I was confused when I tuned in one day last week and heard the announcer say something about a medal ceremony for figure skating. I thought she had read something wrong!

If the US Gymnastics has a time-stamp video showing they started the (first) inquiry within one minute as required, who came up with the "oh they were were over the limit by 4 seconds." So where's the proof of that? Now the IOC is complaining that the US Gymnastics can't appeal more than once.

The whole situation is awful. I hope everyone who was criticizing Jordan on the medal stand are happy now.

The more this situation churns it seems the officials all around continue to shoot themselves in the foot. The current stance reeks of them having run out of feet and simply deciding to double down and dig in rather than own up to their errors instead of pointing fingers at athletes and/or coaches mistakes.

All credibility has been lost at this point -- and I didn't even see this event, don't follow gymnastics or know very much about gymnastics. The competitors deserve better.
