We'll be sailing on the Feb. 16 Magic. Anyone know if my husband will be able to see any Olympic hockey? I don't know if the ship gets NBC or MSNBC. I didn't see them listed as channels onboard. Anyway... if anyone is onboard now and knows if the Olympics are televised I'd appreciate it.

Got off the Wonder on Sunday, no TV coverage.

They have a tote board in the ESPN lounge with the results.
The cruise director said they would be updated every 1/2 hour or so.

Thanks, now at least I won't lose him to the TV!

We sailed in September/October of 2000, during the Sydney Olympics, and there was a letter in the stateroom on the embarkation day which explained that they couldn't obtain the proper licensing to show the Olympics and apologizing for it. I don't recall a board anywhere with the results, so that's a nice new touch.

I would guess it is because Disney owns ABC and ESPN and the Olympic coverage is on NBC. It does not surprise me that it is not being shown. I would suspect that other cruise lines are showing it since they don't own network(s). Kathy
