Olympians at Disney?

Now that the Olympics are over, does anybody know if they are gonna show up in the Parks? I know speed skater Derek Parra showed up after the Winter Olympics in 2002, but I don't know about these.......anybody know where I could find out?

Michael Phelps and I think a few others on the swim team start a cross country tour called "Swim w/ the stars" at WDW sometime this week and end up in Disnleyland. Not sure of the exact days they are in Disney. Maybe today.

All I know so far is that the Soccer team is going to be there tomorrow (Tuesday) as the Grand Marshalls in the day parade at MK. Other than that no word (that I have heard) about anyone else.

My friends and I have made multiple phone calls and we have been rebuffed with answers like "the swimming event is only for the press"

Michael Phelps, Ian Crocker and Lenny Krayzelburg will be visiting the Magic Kingdom Park to kick-off a nationwide tour promoting the U.S. Swim Team on Tuesday Aug. 31.

They will be part of a special pre parade starting at 2:00 p.m.

Album is called US Swim Stars

It was hard to get good pictures because they wouldn't allow anyone to stand in the streets.

It was great. They handed out American flags and wanted the crowd to yell and scream. Many chanted USA, USA. They also were taping this so you may see it on TV sometime.

They also had confetti. The street cleaners had it cleaned up in about 10 mins.
