OLSAT test in third grade?

Does anyone know what this test is like? My third grader is due to take it soon and I'm just curious. The school letter said it identifies gifted/talented students. They will also take high MAP test scores, which he has, but I'm wondering how different this test is.

Not the one our school uses, so no insight, but I did notice when I googled it that you can buy a preparation guide for $90.

Thank you for the link. So, it's pencil and paper. I'm not so sure he'll do well on it, then, as he has a writing disability and even filling in the circles sometimes frustrates him.

Oh well, at least we have the MAP to fall back on.

I think I'll pass on the prep test! That's pretty crazy.
