Olivia's

Has anyone been to Olivia's recently? We went many years ago for lunch and are considering having dinner there this trip. Any reviews, opinions or advice would be appreciated.

I'm wondering about Olivia's too, we've never been but I'd be interested to see if people think it's worth the trip.

I haven't had the chance yet but have heard good things. I was seated next to a couple at another Disney restaurant last fall and they recommended Olivia's as a hidden gem. Explaining that many signature WDW chefs in training work there for their first posting.

We ate there last fall for dinner and have been there several times before. It is pretty good and we like that it was not a loud restaurant. Servers are friendly. Food is good, nice menu. This used to be a hidden secret but the last time we ate there (5:30-6pm) it filled up quickly and the waitress said they have become more popular recently.
We love the Onion Rings, Cobb Salad and Scallops.

It's been awhile, but the times I was there, I really enjoyed it. I especially LOVE the key lime dessert tart they have. HEAVEN!

I ate there for lunch last October and we usually eat there every trip. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed which is nice. I'd always recommend it!

We were there in May and really enjoyed our meal! DH had the prime rib and I had the BBQ chicken sandwich. We arrived a little before 5 but the waiter was fine with holding our order until after 5 so DH could get the prime rib. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back.

Favorite standard table service on property. The pork chop with smoked gouda is fabulous!

We eat there at least once every trip. In May we ate there twice. The first time I had a shrimp po boy and my wife had the crab cakes. The second time I had the crab cakes for an app and the scallops for dinner and she had the prime rib. We have never had a bad meal there. We both look forward to going back there for dinner in December.

It's really good, surpassing most of the highly sought-after places on property. Let's keep it on the down-low though, sometimes you don't even need an ADR to get seated here. Keep it under your hat

Case in point, 7 of us walked in at 6:45 in early May with no reservation and waited about 4 minutes for a table.

Food is GREAT!!!!! The 400 bus stops to get there not so great lol. That resort is seriously big. Although I think I may of just been super hungry that day so it seemed like forever to get there.

If it's possible for those in your group, get off at the first bus stop (Peninsular Road), then just walk to Olivia's. It's a short walk over the bridget to the HH and you will beat those who go to Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller's Road to Olivia's by 10 minutes or so easlily.
