Olivia's - Thanksgiving

I know things may change but I have a question to anyone who has had Thanksgiving at Olivia's in the past - I've seen it referred to as "Family Style".

Does that mean it's similar to Ohana or Whispering Canyon, in that, you eat and then they continue to bring more to your table? i.e. All You Care To Enjoy?
DH is an eater...and I was not able to score Whispering Canyon reservations because I singed on 15 minutes late (not bitter....)
I'll keep looking for that reservation but in the meantime, I booked Olivia's.

If it's AYCTE then I think I might keep it because we've never seen OKW resort and I'd like to walk around.

You didn't miss it because you signed on 15 minutes late...It was showing completely booked yesterday when I tried to book it. It may have even booked up a couple days ago with the guests arriving before we do.

You're welcome. I'm fairly disappointed. I couldn't get WCC or LTT so I booked Grand Floridian Cafe and the Plaza. I did set TP reservation finders, so I hope something shows up. I also couldn't get Sci Fi or Yak & Yeti for our HS and AK days.

Last time we went to Olivia's for Thanksgiving (and this was probably about 5 years ago) there was a Thanksgiving option on the menu but it was just a plated meal of typical Thanksgiving food so each person could choose whether to order that or another entree.

I am 99% sure they still offer their regular menu items on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Maybe add something like turkey and dressing but they still offer everything else.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Olivia's several years ago and it was just a single plate of turkey, dressing, potatoes and another vegetable. Olivia's usually doesn't offer AYCTE for their meals. Just a single plate of food.

Reminder that you can use Touring Plans' Reservation Finder tool to monitor for any cancellations. During these times with more difficult availability at certain restaurants, I've found it to be very helpful!
