Olivia's or Boatwright's for Breakfast?

Both places are fine for breakfast, but I would not go out of my way to go to either one. If I was staying at OKW, I'd do Olivia's, the same for POR with Boatwrights. Neither one is anything special. Now if your talking dinner, I'd do Boatwrights and then go to the River Roost lounge when the Bob the entertainer is there. He's great for all ages and lots of fun.

Although I haven't eaten at Olivia's, be aware that Boatrights has some sweet potato pancakes that are excellent!

I've eaten at both and both are very good. Like Jackmac said, I wouldn't go out of my way for either one. Pick whichever one fits in best with your plans.

We ate breakfast at Olivia's this past trip. I have to save everything was outstanding. Service, food and atmosphere was great. I would have to agree with the previous post that said don't go out of your way. It's not like CRT, but it's very good. We will be staying at OKW again this trip, so we will be having both breakfast and dinner there. I guess if you have the time I would try it though. :thumbsup2

Ate at Boatwrights in 2002. Loved it! Omelettes(sp) were big, they had banana stuffed french toast(very filling) and my faves-strawberries and cream and also sausage gravy n bisquits!Going to try dinner in december.

hey Kathy,
I think boatrights is great. I think that the stuffed french toast makes that place all the worth it just to go there.

Boatwrights.
Service at Olivias can be quite slow at times. One morning last trip they didn't even open on time, and once in (we were the very first customers) it took almost ten minutes to get a cup of coffee and almost 1/2 hour to get our breakfast.
PLus-- Boatwrights has that Blueprint omlette!!!

We loved Boatwrights when we ate there. Olivials was good but we didn't enjoy ourselves there. We thought the banana french toast was great though.

Boatwrights!

Sweet Potatoe pancakes! :goodvibes

Stuffed Banana French Toast!

We also like the Pepper Market at Coronando for breakfast.

Honestly, breakfast in Disney......its all good!

We have only had breakfast once at Boatwright's (we were staying at POR) and it was fabulous - very filling. We plan to have a late breakfast on our last morning there before we catch our plane home. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

we have had breakfast at both and enjoyed both. if you like grits(i don't but my husband does)olivia's is the place for you. i agree, whichever one will fit w/your schedule would be an excellent choice. enjoy!

Its nice to hear these good reviews as we are planning to dine at Boatwrights for the first time on Christmas Morning.

I noticed on the menu it says strawberry banana sauce on the Stuffed French Toast. Is the French Toast itself stuffed with just bananas. Does it look like you could possibly get the sauce on the side? I'm not sure if I would want the strawberries on there. :bitelip:

And can anyone compare it to Tonga Toast?

We went to Oliva's for breakfast on Monday and it was FABULOUS! The service was great (and we had 5 kids under 5 with us). The frech toast was soooo good. It was chocolate mango bread with berries soaked over night in non-alcholoic triple sec and served with fresh whipped cream :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:
