I had the most wonderful meals and excellent service at Olivias. This has to be one of my favorite restaurants. Anyone else?

I have to agree about Olivias. Quiet atmosphere and very friendly service. Love the Mozzarella/tomato salad. This restaurant has gotten a bad rap in the past but I have to say when staying at OKW its a lovely place for a wonderful meal. I had a very interesting conversation with a CM from there and they do read the message boards and are very receptive to suggestions and comments.(Hi Bradley!)

We ate there twice on our last trip and I've got a ps for our second night this coming trip. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the friendly wait staff. They have good "fast food" type items like wings and burgers plus their shrimp pasta was very good too. Looking forward to our dinner in August and I hope I can save room for a yummy dessert.

My DH's favorite place to eat. Olivia's is the first PS we make. It is quiet and relaxing. I have read contrary posts but we think the food is great and the service is always very friendly.

Enjoy!

Ditto Olivia's. It's not an "event" dining spot, but it's great for a simple, no-fuss meal, and seems miles away from the hubbub and rush of the parks. One of the best deals around is their soup, salad, and sandwich combo for lunch - good, fresh stuff, and less than $10.

I think the fact that a lot of CM's eat there should give you a bit of a clue.

Yep--we've always liked Olivia's. They have improved quite a bit since they opened. Probably one of the most under-rated spots at WDW. Their location probably prevents them from having more of a following.

Olivia's is at my home resort of OKW and we eat there at least twice during our stays. I really enjoy it. I have noticed that it's been more crowded each time I've went, so perhaps word is getting out. They have a great milkshake and their salads are excellent, as are the burgers. It is one of my favorites at WDW.

After checking into our resort upon arrival we head straight to Olivia's for our first WDW lunch each trip! DH & I both love it. The restaurant itself is adorable and the food is delicious.

We ate at Olivia's on our last trip. We drove over & checked out OKW & then had an enjoyable dinner at Olivia's. The food was good & the restaurant was pretty calm.

Thanks so much for this thread. We are staying at OKW and I have been wondering how Olivias is. I won't have any reservations now about eating there. Thanks everyone.

We met our friends who have a time share there last year and boy what a surprise - this is now on our must do list. What great food and reasonable prices for Disney. We also had an excellent waiter. We are staying at OKW this year with our friends and can't wait to eat dinner there again.

that sounds great! we planned on going just because of the name (my 3 yo's name LOL) but now even better since it's such a great place to eat to boot! :p

We've enjoyed Olivia's since our first stay in '93. We usually have at least one meal there each trip...which is significant since we are DVC members with OKW as our home resort. I've always enjoyed the meals at Olivia's. We've only had one meal that was lacking in service but it was a comedy of errors kind of thing and definitely the exception rather than the rule there.

Unlike some folks, I enjoyed Olivia's entrees more when they were a bit different and more adventurous. As an eggs benedict lover, I enjoyed the unique variations they used to have. Eggs Olivia was basically two poached eggs on english muffin halves with chicken in an orange/cheese sauce. After that was eliminated, the replacement was again an eggs benedict type meal, but with seasoned roast beef, spinach with the eggs, muffin halves, and cheese sauce...incredible flavor and just different!

IMHO, they've "dumbed down" the menu to have broader appeal, and I guess that's working if Olivia's is becoming more popular. But we still count on a good, well-made meal and good, friendly service in a casual, relaxed atmosphere despite the changes to the menu!;)
