O'Hana
Just hubby and I at this one. We (I) had an excellent view of the castle (hubby had to turn around). I loved the peanut sauce for the wontons. I did not try the veggies or the shrimp as both had red bell pepper in them, but my hubby proclaimed both outstanding. The salad was very good though it was swimming in dressing. The meats were good (I didnt care for the sausage, but hubby liked it). The best part of the meal was the bread pudding with banannas foster sauce. I sat there and poured the sauce into a spoon and ate it all after the bread pudding was gone. I got the recipe. I am making it on my day off. It was disgustingly good. Do NOT EAT ANYTHING FOR HOURS before you come to this meal. You will be stuffed when you leave. I was so full I thought I was going to be sick. The fireworks from here were outstanding. We did this meal without a reservation. I called repeatedly for a reservation at LTT to no avail. We were also told that O'Hana was sold out, so we had Kona Cafe booked. I checked at the stand when we got to Poly, and was told we would have a wait of about 45min for O'Hana. It only took about 25.

My best advice is book ADR's before you go, but dont be afraid to check at the podium last minute.

What wontons? I heard they got rid of them or are you referring to wonton chips?

it was our first visit, so I cannot speak to anything they may have had before. They were fried wonton chips with three dipping sauces

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Hehehe, my fiance did the same thing! :rotfl: Glad you enjoyed it, we like the new incarnation of 'Ohana better than the previous menu.

Thanks for the response and the reviews! ... Sadly we feel the new 'Ohana is sadly mediocre to it's orgin.

Sadly, we ate at Ohana's on Wednesday night and did not have a good meal at all. The view of the castle was the best part of the night. We've eaten there twice before and liked it but after this meal, we have crossed it off our list.

we were there wednesday night also!! Sorry your meal was bad. Ours seemed rushed at first, but we did enjoy it...
