Olivia's at OKW?

Dont really hear to much about this place. I looked at the menu and the food looks good. Anyone have reviews?

As DVC members since it started we have been to Oliviia's many times. Over the years it has been hit or miss with us. Way back when it opened in 1991 we really enjoyed it, but there were years that we didn't care too much for it. That being said, we have had dinner there for the past three or so years and have liked it. Even our kids (very very picky) now enjoy going once per trip. It is a small restaurant and not very "flashy". It is kind of out of the way and this is why I think you don't hear too much about it. Mostly people who eat there are DVC members staying at OKW. As I said, the past three times have been very enjoyable, service was great and the food was very good. As for breakfast, we haven't been there in years, but we never really cared too much for the character breakfast at Olivia's (just my opinion). If you decide to give it a try I hope you like it as much as we do.

Do you think PS are necessary for Olivia's? We'll be at OKW during President's week, and we usually don't like to plan too much.

We are staying a night at OKW in May, just to check it out, then we go to the BWV for a week. Do they still have the character breakfast at OKW and if so, who are the characters?

The character breakfast was discontinued at OKW a while back. When they had it, it featured Pooh and Friends. We went there about 4 years ago and while the character intervention was good the breakfast they served was lackluster. I have to agree with DisneyMim completely. For years Olivia's was hit or miss. We joined the DVC in 1992 and for the first few years it was great. In fact it was one of our favorites on property. Then for a few years there it was really average. A couple years back, supposedly they got a new chef and it has really been pretty good as of late. We went there about a year or so and we really enjoyed our meal. We sometimes eat lunch there as well and it has been quite good lately as well. I am not sure about crowds at Olivia's during President's week, but we have never needed a PS there.

Just for an added bit of info.... We have never made PS for Olivia's and have never had any problems.
