We have eaten there many times and really enjoyed it. We are thinking about it for Thanksgiving dinner this year -- anyone done that in the past?

What did you think?

Our son, DIL, and grands did it a couple years ago, and they said it was a nice traditional Thanksgiving meal.

I have eaten there a few times and have always enjoyed it. It's always a good fallback when you don't have an ADR and want to get into a good restaurant quick.

Are you considering it because you're staying at OKW? If so, my recent experience there would suggest it's a good idea. Somehow, the servers are always so nice when we're there, really feels like you're eating at home. Come to think of it, we ate at Olivia's about 6 years ago, and it didn't feel like it then, but the last couple times we've been there, the servers have been so nice.

We are actually staying at BCV for the first part of our stay and then moving to BLT, but he other half of our group will be at OKW.

Thanksgiving will be a "no park" day for all of us and we had originally thought about having our Thanksgiving meal at Cape May Cafe. We then all decided that we would like to have a family photoshoot done at BC in the morning and we will be starting the day with breakfast at Cape May so we decided to look elsewhere for dinner.

We considered a bunch of places, but in the end decided that we would like to be close to one of the villas so that the guys, and a few of us gals, could watch football as long as possible before heading out to eat.

We have enjoyed Olivia's in the past when staying at OKW, but I wasn't sure what the Thanksgiving meal would be like there.

One sister even mentioned cooking in the villa, so we might still consider that -- especially with the big rooms at OKW and the extra table on the balcony.

We usually have good service at Olivia's, but I have been less than happy with the food for many of the meals we have had there. I can't speak to their Thanksgiving fare.

We've been there for Christmas. Loved it. We have never been disappointed with the food or service at Olivia's Cafe. It has become a tradition for our family to meet and eat at Olivia's at least once during our WDW/DVC visits. :thumbsup2

As I said, my family had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner there two years ago.

If it was me, I'd probably make the meal myself in the OKW villa and enjoy the family time that comes with the preparation etc. Traditional Thanksgiving is pretty easy.

We eat at Olivia's the 1st night of every stay at OKW, it's become a tradition. I've never had a bad meal there. The turkey sandwich they offer during lunch time is one of my favorites! We did Thanksgiving there a couple of years ago and dinner was good, this year however, we're heading back home the day before! Have fun!

I did Thankgiving at Olivia's a few years ago with my DS, DIL and granddaughters, it was the only reservation I could get at short notice and thought it was very good, food, portions and service exceeded my expections.
I'll be at WDW again this Thanksgiving and may try it again.

We just got ressies at Olivis'a for Thanksgiving this year. I would suggest you make it soon if you want to go. The earliest we could get was 4:45.

Thanks!

I actaully booked them yesterday morning -- we are at 4:15 so we will probably see you there!

We are at WDW thanksgiving week as well, gonna try Biergarten?? Going to Olivias for the first time when we get in town...looking forward to it. Have not even stepped on OKW grounds even when staying next door at SSR so should be fun. Sounds like you are already on the ADR's good thing because they are filling up for sure. Already counting down for Turkey Time!!
