Hello everyone

This is my third time applying to the Disneyland College Program and hope third time's the charm ;) I'm an "older" CP hopeful and I remember chatting with a few other older CP hopefuls on here.

I have a question to anyone who has worked the College Program - how old was the oldest CP participant that you worked with? I didn't say anything during this interview about being much older than other CP applicants but the other two times I mentioned it only because I was going to live in Disney housing. I remember from my first interview that the recruiter said age means nothing and they have had people as old as in the early 70's. I think that's awesome!

Also if anyone who is "older" would like to share their experience even if they weren't accepted into the Program. Thanks! Good luck to everyone!!

A guy in his 30s lived across hall & I think a lady in her 50s was on the DCP. GL! ;)

I'm 22 (23 in November) and I'm a Spring 2014 hopeful. I have my phone interview next Wednesday! :)

Good luck everyone! I hope we all get in :) I belonged to 2 groups last time (the DL CP Group and the Older CP (over 25 I think) group). It will be interesting to hear who gets in and how quickly we get in.

I was 24 on my program and I thought for sure I'd be on the older end of CPs, but really found many my same age (my roommates were 28, 26, me, 22, 21, 21). Age came up in my interview because I was finishing my MEd and was married, so it was obvious I was non-traditional. Beyond that, I'm not sure that they would have even known.

I've personally known a couple CPs in their 30s, 2 of them are now Managers.

I knew of some that were in thier 50's. I do think they give housing assignments some consideration to age but not anything else.

I thought I would update real quick that I was accepted into the Disneyland CP (received my email a few days ago). I am still contemplating whether I will accept (role is Vacation Planner). I was really hoping to get Front Desk or Guest Services and am not sure whether the role is negotiable or even the pay. I live locally so won't be living in the apartments and am not certain I can survive on the pay.
