Old TV show - help

Anybody remember a tv show - primetime - where different US towns would compete against each other in a series of different events (almost like Wipeout) - trying to do different team events in a race against the clock and the other team? Late 70s?

Almost Anything Goes. 1975-76
Regis Philbin was one of the on air personalities.

They also produced a Saturday morning version "Junior Almost Anything Goes" which was hosted by Soupy Sales.

In many ways, Wipeout! is a descendant of Almost Anything Goes. In that context, the role of Regis (the funny color commentator) is played by John Henson, with John Anderson playing the Charlie Jones role. I don't remember if they had someone down on the field, in Almost Anything Goes, like Jill Wagner in Wipeout! Yeah, they must have, but I don't remember who it was.
