Old Tickets

I was told I should bring my non RFID tickets that were purchased a couple of years ago to guest services to trade them in for RFID tickets.

Is it worthwhile to trade in ALL the tickets I have at home or just the tickets for that trip?

Will this cause any difficulties if I should later decide to upgrade the tickets with additional days, etc.?

I switched up a no-expiration ticket from 2006 last year with no issues at all. Turned out I had one more day on there than I thought I did, too! The line at the window was long, but the process once I got to a CM was quick and easy.

Totally up to you if you want to exchange others at the same time.

I agree with jezebel. A week ago I swapped an older non RFID pass for an RFID one. Then I used it for a park entry and then upgraded to my AP renewal. No problems at all. If you don't want to swap them all, do as you want each trip. Easy process, time pretty much determined by how many people ahead of you and their problems.
