Old Tickets and other Questions

Hi - we have some older tickets that were purchased in 2002 at CAA. They say 3 day, 2 park and I am sure we only used up one day and I recall that they were non-expiry. Is there any way I can confirm that these are still valid? We haven't been to US since 2002, so now that kids are mid teens, thought it would be great to do one day during our upcoming visit. Would Sunday, Oct 27 be a decent day to go? Are there crowd predictors for US/IOA? If we can only do one park, which would be best for a 14 & 17 year old who like all kids of rides. Thanks

take the tickets to guest services.
they can check the validity of them.


you can use the outside of the parks GS windows.

if you want to know in advance, call guest services or send them an email to ask if you can find out the ticket validity now.



HHN will be held at the studios that sunday.
studios will be closing at 5:00 but ioa will be open later.

Thanks for the quick response! Will the Halloween event cause larger crowds during the day at either park? Also would IOA be less crowded that night due to Halloween at US?

Both parks are really great, my girls are 13 and 15 and can't really pick a preferred park of the 2. We will also be there Sunday, currently planning on going to USF in the morning, then swinging over to IOA for the afternoon, with a 2pm reservation at Mythos for lunch. Must do rides for us are:
USF
Transformers
Mummy
Simpsons
Despicable Me
**if time, Rip Ride Rockit for 3 of us

IOA
Spiderman
Forbidden Journeys
Dragon Challenge
Cat in the Hat (don't know why but both of them love this one)
***if time, Hulk before leaving, again only for 2 or 3 of us, my 15 year old won't ride.

IOA will close at 7:00 pm on the 27th.
Studios closes at 5:00 pm.


since the hhn event will end at 2:00 am, i am assuming large crowds will happen prior to the hhn event that sunday.

there will be peeps entering the studios probably around 3:00 to get some rides in before the park closes.
those with the hhn tickets will be able to stay in the park holding area once it is 5 and released when the hard ticket event opens.


those that have the park to park ticket, can leave the studios when it closes and go to ioa.
do not know if many do this, no idea if ioa will be crowded that sunday.


ioa is open one hour prior to the official opening for onsite hotel guests.
if you decide to do ioa, instead of the studios that sunday, there will be peeps already in the park when you enter at 9:00.

the parry hotter section is the area that is opened for early entry each day.


i have not found the HP section to be that full when entering it around 9ish.
i go from early through mid october to UO on my fall trips.


hopefully others will post to share their experiences in doing the parks for the end of october.
they might give you better advice on your questions.
