Old Ticket adding water park?

I have 7 day park hopper no exp passes left from a previous visit (originally 10 day passes). Is it possible to add the water park plus 3 options on to these tickets or not since they've already been used previously? We have a one day base ticket for this trip since we're getting the dining plan, but so far in my planning we're hopping everyday. Even though that ticket is the one connected with the package for the dining, I can still save that one for a later trip right? We usually go in Dec so would like to take advantage of the water parks this sept, but just trying to figure out the best way to do it. I know just adding the water park option to the base ticket makes the most sense probably, I just can't figure out how to have a day without hopping and still fit everything in. UGH-I think I'm going to have to start taking 10 day trips

Since the old ticket (with 7 days left) was used more than 14 days ago it is too late to "simply add" water park fun to it for $54.

Yes you could use the old tickets now and save the new package tickets for later but because you want water park fun --- you may want to consider expanding the one day package ticket to cover the whole vacation, add water park fun, but let it remain expiring.

Then save the old ticket for use still later in your life.

You could add water park fun to the one day ticket while using the old ticket for your theme park admission, but you would need to add non-expiration and at least one more day to the one day ticket as well to preserve the theme park portion for later. This is not a better deal cost wise.
