I had Ms Beasley too!
Just keep applying!! She gave up an amazing job in NYC as the Chief of Staff to a NYC Council Member. She was so down... and she hated living in Dallas.... she moved to be close to her now fiance... it's been hard lots of walking her off the ledge, but it finally happened!! When you least expect it it will happen!!!
Good Luck!

Unfortunately our UK TA was only able to book standard rooms not Garden rooms. I don't think there are any left for our dates, as I was going to upgrade at check in and pay the difference. Does anyone know how much it would be to upgrade to water view, as those are showing as available. I really don't fancy the view of a car park or roof for two weeks.
Ding Ding Ding!!!
You get the points!

Hi folks. I thought I should re-introduce myself. I have been lurking for the last couple of weeks. I was on one of the earlier incarnations of this thread back when I was planning my June 2011 BC vacation.
This year we stayed at SSR (trying DVC on for size.) After that we decided that we were buying into DVC. We just passed ROFR on a BCV resale contract. So while I don't know when I'll be back, I am very much looking forward to "coming home" to BCV at some point.![]()

Me Too!!!!!
actually, she is still in my mother's attic. Although I'm missing her glasses or else she'd be worth money today!
Congratulations and Welcome Home Neighbor!!!!
You will love BCV!
Welcome back! We spoke on the phone last June when we did the noodle swap. My family stayed at BCV this past June and loved it! You will love that as your DVC home.
Welcome HOME! And Congrats on passing ROFR. You will love BCV!!

For those following my DD job saga... She decided to accept the High School College Counselor position! She becomes a member of the working class August 15th WOOHOOO!! She is perfect for this job... She would never be happy practicing law, but her law degree isn't a waste she uses the knowledge she has from law school and the bars (NY and TX) all the time. Education is never a waste is what I say!! Anyway the position is working with her on her wedding dates and giving her the time off she needs so nothing needs to be moved or changed!!! Best part of the whole thing, and I don't have to pay for COBRA (I am a believer that everyone should have health coverage so I pay for her coverage) any longer!! Cancun/Disneymoon still on!!
Happy in NYC!!
